Dr. Frank Benson, D.M.D., has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. He has enjoyed his over 15 year marriage to Eleanor Benson and they have two beautiful daughters, Claudia, Age 14 and Audrey, Age 11.
He enjoys his hobbies of tennis and gardening as well as attending Dunwoody United Methodist Church.
He graduated from Emory University, School of Dentistry with a Certificate of Periodontics in 1982 after completing his Doctorate Of Dental Medicine from University of Connecticut in 1980.
He taught at Emory University in the School in Dentistry from 1982 through 1987 and was the Director of Didactic Periodontal Curriculum and the Co-Director of TMJ/Facial Pain Curriculum.
He is a member of The American Dental Association, The Georgia Dental Association, The North District Dental Society, The American Academy of Periodontology, The Southern Academy of Periodontology, The Georgia Society of Periodontists, The Academy of Osseointegration, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American College of Implantology, The American Society of Osseointegration, and The American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Ms. Duren currently lives in Cumming with her husband and their dogs Paisley and Sherman. They enjoy camping and hiking together and she also enjoys interior decorating, sewing and chocolate. She always brushes her teeth immediately after consuming chocolate! Her favorite vacation has been to the Cayman Islands. She loves working with people and strives to make dental visits easy and comfortable for our patients. Ms. Duren had been a dental assistant for over 10 years and has also been an instructor in dental assisting at Montgomery Community College in North Carolina. She has been with Dr. Benson’s practice since January of 2006. Ms. Duren received her Dental Assistant II Certificate from UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina, her Oral Radiography Certificate from GTCC, Greensboro, North Carolina, her Dental Implant Surgical Assistant Training Program in Gothenburg, Sweden and also had CPR Certification. |

Ms. Hughes has been a practicing Dental Hygienist since 1997, and has been working in the dental field since 1993. She is a graduate from Gainesville College. She graduated with honors, and received the award for Clinical Excellence. She also received the Hinman Scholar, Colgate Scholar, and Hygienist of the Year award from The Good News Community Health Center. She continues to stay educated by taking numerous courses in the latest periodontal technology and strives to meet the highest standard of dental care possible. |
